cha-ching update

Thought I should report on the rest of the story.

Recap: Manuel and The Tiger were innocent victims of a huge wreck in White Utopia. They received minor injuries and lost their means of earning a living (totaled their crappy pickup and flatbed trailer).

One week and several insurance checks later, Manuel has replaced his crappy truck with three crappy trucks. And a new flatbed trailer.

I love it.

did i see you in a parade today?

In the parade? No.

I was AT it, but not IN it. Maybe you think of that band called Under Cover...I use to work with a couple of those guys at a music store.

Also...there was the return of my favorite parade entry: homeless guys on bikes. This year it was the lone entry of Johnny Schitzo, wearing a pink back pack.

Two years ago it was a couple of drunk homeless guys on bikes I knew. They were weaving in and out of the entries yelling and waving to the crowd. And everyone was just waving back like it was normal.

Hilarious.

Ah, that's who the pink backpack guy was. Almost as random as the Tech segway guy, but not quite.

Well, I'm a little disappointed. I guess the irony of your being in a band named Under Cover would just be too rich.

Oh, and I think I've figured out why I keep you in my feed reader even though I'm repeatedly annoyed by the "God sent me five dollars" posts. I think it's because you and I both seem to like non-church-people better than church people.

... Yeah, that's about it.

Just felt like sharing. =/

Thanks Matt. Coming from someone with your cynicism level, I take that as a huge compliment. Really.

And god hasn't sent me 5 bucks in a while. But I did find a dime in the street last night.

God sent me 10 cents.

I would say "lol", but it makes me sound like a 13-year-old girl.
