barn
why did you build a bigger barn? with brick and mortar? flesh and bone? stepping on oppressed mill-stoned necks leftover crumbs to orphaned aliens
You can’t take it with you.

B-You've reminded me of a song I wrote in April 01 (basically I lifted it from Jeremiah 22:15) BTW--I'm really glad that you are writing and getting to play every now and again. As long as I've known you music is a part of you.
I hope it is not presumptious to share it here:
Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar? Didn't your father have food and drink... He did what was right and he sought justice. Didn't you ask him what it meant to be king? He defended the cause of the needy. Isn't that what it means to know me.... Setting his eyes and heart on goodness. Didn't you ask him what it meant to be king? Why didn't you ask him what it meant to be king? lil' sis
As an undercover operative for the CEO of the universe, I am strategically embedded within the poverty culture of Abilene, TX (the fair mother city). This blog contains my reports, discoveries, observations, and confessions. My identity must remain concealed due to passages in The Book under Matt. 6:1-4. The names on this blog have been changed to protect the guilty.
